Indians trade Trevor Bauer to Reds

The Cleveland Indians have traded Trevor Bauer to the Cincinnati Reds as part of a reported three-team deal that will send Yasiel Puig to Cleveland and includes the San Diego Padres.
Tuesday night the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres drawn off a blockbuster trade.
According to a report from ESPN’s Jeff Passan, starting pitcher Trevor Bauer is headed to the Cincinnati Reds. According to MLB Network’s Jon Heyman, the Indians will take outfielder Yasiel Puig as part of the deal.
Right-hander Trevor Bauer has been traded to the Cincinnati Reds, sources familiar with the deal tells ESPN. He will move as part of a three-team deal with the San Diego Padres, according to sources.

The deal is not yet official. In fact, Puig is still on the field playing for the Reds as of this posting.
It’s not yet clear what the Padres connection is.
